Stacey Lieberman
President & Owner A third generation owner, Stacey Joined the family business in the early 70's, when his father Mert, a seasoned refrigerated trucker, decided to jump from the flower market to the fish market. He seized an opportunity to become the premier trucker for the Fulton Fish Market in NYC and Later expanded to other major seafood markets in Boston and Philadelphia. Stacey grew up fishing and boating on the shores of Long Island. Always an adventurer, Stacey has traveled all over exploring the world's seafood markets from Iceland all the way to New Zealand. |
Jared Lieberman
Chief Executive Officer As Stacey's son, Jared grew up around the business, working on the airport at the early age of 15. Raised on Long Island, he considers himself a true "islander." After attending the University of Miami, Jared returned to join Norman's full time and has not looked back, forming great relationships with his customers and installing many new procedures in both the office and the warehouse.. He also has a passion for traveling, and as of 2023, has visited over 30 countries, always expanding his distribution network while exploring the world. |
Jayson Vignola
Chief Operating Officer A native of Long Island. Jayson graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Soon after, he joined the Hospitality Management industry, making a name for himself first at Long Beach's premier hotel, The Allegria, followed by Manhattan's historic Empire Hotel. Since Jayson joined the Norman's team in 2014, he has installed numerous new technological and organizational procedures, while becoming a valued member of the team. |
Luis Bohorquez
General Manager Luis came to work for Norman's when he was 16. He watched and learned everything he could, quickly proving he was always able to get the job done. 30+ years later, now the General Manager, Luis has a real grasp on the problem-solving aspect of the logistics industry, never giving up until the task at hand is completed. Coming from Ecuador, Luis is fluent in both English and Spanish, providing Norman's with the ability to expand their global network. Luis still has family in Ecuador and visits as often as he can. |
Marvin Seecharan Warehouse Manager Marvin came to the US from Trinidad & Tobago 15+ years ago. Over the years, he worked his way up the ladder, starting first as an extra hand and eventually becoming Warehouse Manager. His organizational skills and dedication to the job are second to none. |
Corina Lopez
Account Supervisor Corina Lopez has worked at Norman's for 15 years. For many years she was that pleasant female voice you hear when you call. No task is too small (or large) for Corina when dealing with invoicing and billing. Maintaining the 'family' vibe of Norman's, Corina is Luis' sister, and proud mother to her children. |
Veronica Zavala
Office Administrator & Battery Consultant (AAA, C, D, 9V) Veronica is the voice of Norman's! After being here for 5+ years now, with her enthusiasm, attention to detail and sense of humor, Veronica has become a staple in the office and a vital part of the culture here at Norman's. |
Scott Cohen
Logistics Coordinator After graduating from Hofstra University with a degree in business marketing, Scott worked as an event coordinator on long island. After five years at Norman's, Scott has become an essential part of the team, installing new inventory procedures and beginning to introduce a new green initiative. Scott is an avid scuba diver and traveler, having dove in Bonaire, Galapagos Islands, and Curacao - he has his sights on the Great barrier reef. |
Indy & Maggie
Office Mascots Indy, now 11, has frequented the Norman's office since she was a pup. She enjoys bones and snuggles from Veronica, a good nap in grandmas office, and barking at Scott. Maggie, now 8, wiggles her way around the office searching for treats and extra food. She is always happy to be present during Norman's biggest events. |
Skelly
Jester Skelly, our employee who is always in the office. Although he's been at Norman's for some time, he prefers working behind the scenes. Skelly brings cheer into the office by dressing up for the holidays and greeting everyone who walks through these doors. A great listener who always has time for a talk. |
